Browse a catalogue of entries with contributor names, ratings, and reviews.
Rate entries on a ten-point scale and read feedback from other users.
Find entries by name, description, or tag, then sort the catalogue.
Connect to a private server, save its display name, and return to it later.
Private servers use Cloudflare Workers and D1. The owner manages the catalogue and reviews through the built-in admin panel.
Download server setup filesIn the Cloudflare dashboard, create a D1 database. The example configuration uses rated-db.
Run schema.sql, then run migrations/002_community_features.sql once. For an older database missing reviews.ip_hash, run migration 001 only if needed.
Upload worker.js to a Cloudflare Worker. Add a D1 binding named DB and select your database.
Set SERVER_MODE to private and SERVER_NAME to your preferred display name. Add secrets named JWT_SECRET and ADMIN_TOKEN.
Deploy the Worker, open its /panel page to administer it, and enter its HTTPS URL in Rated under Add a custom server.
Users can browse and review entries. Signed-in users can submit new entries, which enter the administrator's Suggestions queue. The administrator can approve or reject each suggestion.
Back up an existing database before changing its schema. Migration 002 adds columns and should not be run twice. Migration 001 is only for older databases that do not yet have reviews.ip_hash.
